Department of social and humanitarian disciplines has an active scientific society of cadets and students.

Members of scientific society regularly take part in university, regional, national and international conferences. In particular, there are traditional reports at the International scientific conference of cadets and students "Problems and prospects of civil protection."

Student of 4-th year Social and Psychological Faculty Nataly Bryk was awarded a diploma for the content of the report and active participation in the International scientific conference "Ukraine and the World: humanitarian-technical elite and social progress" NTU "KPI".

Active participation in the work of society take student of 2-nd year of Social and Psychological Faculty Alexander Lyashenko. His report "Internet-addyktiv behavior as a threat to mentally health of person" was presented at the section "Psychology: Social and psychological problems of development and security of the individual in cyberspace" representative of the International Scientific Conference "Virtual person: new horizons" in. Alexander Lyashenko also took part in the scientific-practical conference on the development of innovative technology, hotel and restaurant business and the economy, held at Kharkiv State University of Food Technology and Trade (supervisor - associate professor M.I. Harlamov)

Following the conference, Alexander Lyashenko was awarded an honorary diploma for the best report and active participation in all-Ukrainian scientific conference of young scientists and students in the section devoted to the problems of modern information technology.
